Here are answers to some questions that may have occurred to you.  If your question isn't included here, please contact me.

Q: Do you serve all faith traditions?

A: My work is primarily with Christian folks and we have provided services to people who have come from many different Christian denominations.  My belief is that we are all children of the same Creator and we are happy to help no matter what your faith background is, including if you do not consider yourself to be a religious person.  I won't try to "convert" you either!


Q: How are fees for service determined?

A: Each service is unique so fees are calculated after determining the time needed for consultation, planning, creation of any materials to be printed, travel (if significant distance involved) and the like.  The initial consultation is without charge and an estimate can be prepared promptly after we have met the first time.


Q: What, generally, is the range of fees?

A: Simple services that involve a single planning meeting and little logistics planning start at $200.  Memorial services, including graveside if desired, average $200.  It is important to note that planning with you is always included!  I want your service to be special for you and the occasion.


Q: How much lead time is needed before the service date?

A: We appreciate having as much time as possible and encourage you to reserve your date well in advance to avoid disappointment.  I operate on a reservation system and a reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of $100.  In the case of memorial services, where advance planning is sometimes not really possible, I try to be as flexible as possible.


Q: What payment methods are accepted?

A: At present I accept cash or your personal check for all services.  I also accept payment via PayPal.  Fees for all services are due before the service takes place, for weddings that is generally at the rehearsal.  That is done so that you don't have anything to worry about the day of the service.


Q: If I make a deposit and my plans change is the deposit refundable?

A: Yes, up to 30 days before the scheduled service the entire deposit is refundable.  Less than 30 days but more than 15 days notice will result in a refund of one-half the deposit.  Cancellations less than 15 days prior to a scheduled service are not refundable.  In the initial consultation we try to ensure that cancellations are unlikely.
